  • Total fees due will depend on the class length and multiple classes/family discounts to be applied.
Registration and Tuition
  • There is a yearly registration fee per student of $45.00 upon enrollment in regular season classes. ($40.00 if registered before June 1st of the upcoming season.) This fee is non-transferable.

All Dance Shoes must be purchased through SDS. (Pointe' Shoes are the exception)
This will ensure that all of our dancers are in the proper shoes and coordinate for all performances.
Dance wear (leotards, tights, skirts) and accessories can be purchased through SDS. This is not mandatory, however it does help create uniformity and ensure that it remains within our studio dress code.
Annual Performances
The culmination of the dance studies throughout the year is the Holiday and June Shows. The performances are intended to instill a sense of pride and accomplishment in our dancers. Show and rehearsal dates/times are mandatory for all students participating in any show. They are held the week prior to the performance.
Attendance
Regular class attendance is necessary to improve. Sporadic attendance is not encouraged and SDS reserves the right to remove any student from a performance/piece due to poor attendance.
Students that register after Sept. 30th may not be able to perform in the upcoming Holiday Performance. They will be eligible to perform in the June Show. Students that register after January 12th will not be able to perform in the upcoming June Performance.
Summer classes are not mandatory at SDS for all students. However, we encourage our dancers to continue their dance education during the summer months.
Summer classes are mandatory for all students enrolled in the special ballet program.
Fundraising (Disney Trip or Fees/Costume)
SDS provides fundraising opportunities to our families to help offset the cost of fees, costumes and our next Performing Arts Trip.
  • Step 1: Optional participation in a fundraiser!
  • Step 2: Turn in fundraiser monies with ONE check (no cash!) made out to SDS.
  • Step 3: Individual Student totals will be emailed to families.
  • You will be informed of profit to be made at the beginning of each fundraiser.
If you do participate in fundraising and leave SDS - any credited balance will be forfeited to the "SDS friends account".
